It all began when Anu Pentik first pressed her hand into the clay. At the same time, she began to shape a way of life that gave rise to the factory in the North – a place where creativity, craftsmanship and northern nature come together every day.

The ceramics are fired at a temperature of over 1,200 degrees. This creates a product that can withstand almost any conditions and retains its beauty for centuries.

Five decades later, every piece of ceramics that leaves Posio for the wider world still carries with it the same passion from which it all began..
