We would be nothing without nature.
Nature feeds us and sets the rhythm of life. Night, day, summer, winter. Whether our home is in Helsinki, Lapland, or Tokio, nature is part of us. And we are part of nature.
But our connection has withered over time. Few of us have the time or chance to climb to the top of a fell, sit quietly in the forest, or see the cliffs shaped by the sea. Because nature gives us so much more than just nourishment.
It feeds us.
Our home is in the north, surrounded by rugged beauty. We give shape to what has shaped us: northern nature.
No one can own nature, but we believe everyone should have the chance to feel it. To hold nature in their hands, to take it in through their eyes, to rest their head upon it.
The north is our home and our way of life.
And we want to share it with you.

Our Ceramic factory
Pentik ceramics are made in our home in Posio, right next to the Arctic Circle, in the northernmost ceramics factory in the world. The path from idea to finished product takes our ceramics through many pairs of skilled hands and decades of experience.
The beauty and bounty of nature and the changing seasons is an essential part of Pentik ceramics. When this force of nature is mixed with clay, something truly unique is born – products that are made in Finland and made with love.
Set a beautiful table with ceramic pieces that are meant to be passed from one generation to the next. High-quality and beautifully designed, Pentik ceramics bring joy and beauty to celebrations and everyday occasions. Choose a statement piece or combine our ceramics with other Pentik collections. It’s easy to fall in love with these treasures from the North.
Each product is proudly stamped with these words:
PENTIK Made in Posio Finland
50 years of bringing beauty home
It was the early 1970s. While everyone else was moving out of Posio, the family Pentikäinen had moved in. They found everything and nothing in Posio – the true magic of Lapland. Anu had space to think and be herself, and an artist’s soul was born. One by one, they found the people with whom even the wildest dreams began to come true. In the middle of it all rose the northernmost ceramics factory in the world. And so much more.
