Bloom your
own way.
own way.
Pentik was born from Anu’s creative flair, channelled into beauty. The seed sown long ago has had its chance to grow, and with the help of our creative team, it has blossomed into a field of art, with flowers blooming with the creativity of their creators, year after year.
Creativity is the ability to see the world through different eyes. It’s a way of conveying a feeling that would otherwise be left unsaid. It’s a means of leaving our mark, of meaning, and of touching the soul. Creativity is not just for the privileged few; it resides within us all. It is not limited by age, gender, or the colour of our skin. Creativity knows no bounds, and we all can practice creativity in our own unique way. To flourish and to blossom.
This year, we want to place the spotlight on the creators of creativity and art. Let the emotions sweep us off our feet, let creativity fly free, and let all flowers bloom, one flower at a time!
There's no other alike.
Even after 50 years, Anu is the first to sneak into the ceramics factory, turn on the lights and rush to see how the previous day’s work turned out. Not because she has to, but out of passion and fire. A way of life.
According to Anu Pentik, creativity is born from a childlike lack of prejudice and a playful spirit of experimentation. The creative process runs and develops in her mind day and night. She does not draw or sketch too much, but works directly on the material, clay. The amount of things she does keeps her busy and doesn't give her any room to think about what to do next.
Our Spring/Summer 2025 collection introduces a fresh perspective on the world around us. We pause to take in the surrounding beauty, to stop taking things for granted, and to challenge ourselves to see with new eyes, so that we realise the beauty around us. The flowers of our collection bloom like their creators – spreading joy, light, and hope everywhere.
Flowers to the table!
Summer it's the best time of year to eat out. And not in a restaurant, your own backyard will do just fine. By combining the new and the classic, you can set the table for a summer feast, because no matter how big or small the cause - you can always celebrate!
Minna Niskakangas uses different methods of visual art to design and work on the patterns. For her, designing is a state of mind - a constant process of daydreaming and beauty-seeking in her head. She believes that the beauty around us has a great impact on the quality of life.
Each decorates in their own way.
The energy of spring's greenery sparks a burst of creativity in many of us, which we channel into decorating our homes. For some, it's all about having fresh flowers in vases, for others it's about hanging a spring wreath on the door, while for others it's a sofa full of plush cushions. Let everyone express their creativity in their own way!
Sometimes the design is done by paddling. The vase is shaped by a migratory boulder that designer Lasse Kovanen meets every now and then in the Baltic Sea archipelago. Lasse won't tell us the exact location of the boulder, the pleasure will be reserved for the finder.
Wildcat’s sauna evening.
The Nordic summer is all about leisurely moments by the water. Lounging on the dock or in the hammock, listening to the waves lapping and running from the sauna to the lake to cool off. And what better feeling than falling asleep in clean floral bedding, listening to the sounds of a summer night through an open window?
