The design process of Hopeakuusi combines the modern and the traditional: Lasse Kovanen first modeled a silver fir branch and needles on a computer, then painted it with watercolors, and finally arranged the branches he had cut by hand into a harmonious whole. The result is lively and organic, full of the feel of craftsmanship.
