Lichen usually live in rough conditions like tree trunks and rocks. But they can also be picky and need clean air to grow. That´s why they flourish in Finnish nature. While designing the Jäkälä (Lichen) collection, Minna Niskakangas thought her childhood near forests. She painted an organic and ornamental print originally on plywood.
The size of the Jäkälä bedspread is 270x260 cm and it is made of 100% cotton, filling 100% polyester.
