The small but resilient lichen.
Lichen usually live in rough conditions like tree trunks and rocks. But they can also be picky and need clean air to grow. That´s why they flourish in Finnish nature. While designing the Jäkälä (Lichen) collection, Minna Niskakangas thought her childhood near forests. She painted an organic and ornamental print originally on plywood. The graphic yet soft pattern represents timeless design that never goes out of style.
The woollen Jäkälä blanket is 130x170 cm in size. Gorgeous, large Jäkälä pattern decorates both sides. One side of the blanket is light grey and other side natural white. Made of 100% wool, no wet cleaning.
