Lasse Kovanen used watercolours to paint Lapland's plants on a surface reminiscent of an early summer forest floor in bloom. The blue and white colour scheme gives the pattern a Mediterranean and Nordic feel at the same time. The tableware, fabrics, cushion covers, kitchen textiles and tablecloths in the Lapinkukka (Lapland Flower) collection make the fleeting blossoming season in Lapland continue from summer to winter and even to the following summer.
The blue and white Lapinkukka plate has a diameter of 25 cm and it is made in our world's northernmost ceramics factory in Finland, Posio. All our ceramic dishes are machine washable and can be used in electric oven, baking oven, microwave and freezer.
