Designer Lasse Kovanen sought inspiration for the timeless Leinikki (Buttercup) pattern by getting a bouquet of brightly colored flowers for his desk. He drew them carefully with a pen and then added a watercolor surface. The detailed pencil strokes combined with the soft watercolors create an interesting contrast in the pattern.

The series’ acrylic-coated cotton fabric is a practical choice for the dining table, as it repels stains and is easy to wipe clean. The edges can be left completely unhemmed, as the coating prevents them from fraying. The acrylic-coated cotton fabric is 150 cm wide and machine washable on a gentle program at 40 degrees.
