Leinikki Coated Placemat

The green placemat from the Leinikki series brings soothing atmosphere to table setting with its muted colors. Leinikki tapestry style placemat is made of acrylic coated cotton, which is a practical material especially for kitchen, as it's easy to wipe clean. Size of the placemat is 35x45 cm.

Leinikki 
Designer Lasse Kovanen sought inspiration for the timeless Leinikki (Buttercup) pattern by getting a bouquet of brightly colored flowers from a flower shop for his desk. He drew them carefully with a pen and then added a watercolor surface. The detailed pencil strokes combined with the soft watercolors create an interesting contrast in the pattern. Leinikki gives the home a late-summer glow-up, as well as a hint of the approaching autumn.
