Leinikki Cotton Linen Fabric

The Leinikki looks stunning on curtains or as a tablecloth and creates a calming atmosphere to home. The Leinikki halflinen fabric is 150 cm wide and the pattern repeat length is 94 cm. Material is 50% linen, 50% cotton.

Designer Lasse Kovanen sought inspiration for the timeless Leinikki (Buttercup) pattern by getting a bouquet of brightly colored flowers from a flower shop for his desk. He drew them carefully with a pen and then added a watercolor surface. The detailed pencil strokes combined with the soft watercolors create an interesting contrast in the pattern. The textiles in the series are available in cheerful sunny shades and soothing muted colors.
