Pahta Bowl

In the layered surface of the Pahta bowl, one can see the silhouette of fells, the meeting point of earth and sky – or even the movement of the northern lights. The natural colour palette and timeless shape make the Pahta bowl a pleasure to use and a beautiful addition to any table setting. Its distinctive, lively glaze is developed at Pentik’s ceramic factory in Posio, Finnish Lapland. The manufacture of this tableware series requires manual work and therefore each Pahta dish is unique. The glaze flows and transforms during firing, creating individual patterns and tones. The Pentik Pahta bowl has a capacity of 0,4 litres. The dessert bowl is machine washable and can safely be used in the electric oven, masonry oven, microwave oven and freezer.

Pahta
The Pahta ceramic serie is a tribute to Pentik’s roots and the raw beauty of northern nature. The word 'pahta' refers to a bare, treeless fell or a steep rocky slope. The name reflects the tableware’s rugged character and the northern strength at the heart of Pentiks’ story.
