Nature's own Christmas tree decorations. Lasse Kovanen saw small, red birds on a skiing trip in northern Lapland. The birds sitting on the branches of snow-covered spruces resembled Christmas decorations. The Taviokuurna (Pine Grosbeak) pattern was painted with a brisk, flowing brushstroke. Into northern homes, the collection's birds fly in the form of cushion covers, tablecloths and kitchen textiles.
