Food is not only nourishment, but also a journey to new tastes and a new kind of independence. We feel that we want to make ceramics - responsibly
At our factory, we strive to recycle and use raw materials as efficiently as possible. Unfired clay is reused, glazed ceramic objects broken in the manufacturing process are recycled into artworks, and waste heat from firing ceramics is recycled for heating our own premises. We also support the vitality of the Posio region, so that we can maintain ceramics production in Finland in the future.

Lasse painted the Vasa pattern with ink. The observant might notice that a little bit of artist's freedom has been used: the little reindeer calf is born with antlers on its head. Fortunately, in the world of children, anything is possible.

"I believe that the beauty of our surroundings also has a big impact on the quality of life for children."
The initial idea for the Heppa collection came from squares. While Minna was working on the colourful square theme, children's play blocks also came to her mind. The result is a small, smiling horse character who gallops among the blocks. In addition to the new Heppa, Minna has also designed the Metsänväki collection, which introduces nature to toddlers. With the inhabitants of the stable and forest, imagination takes flight and exciting adventures await!
