Riekko Egg

The Riekko (Willow grouse) ceramic sculpture and the Egg designed by Henrik Allert has made a spectacular return to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Pentik ceramics factory. Swedish ceramist Henrik Allert created the Riekko in Posio in the 1970s as part of Pentik's Fauna series, which has charmed collectors and ceramics enthusiasts over the decades. The artwork, inspired by the tranquillity of the northern wilderness, has now been produced in only a small batch.
The Riekko ceramic Egg measures 4 cm and it is made at our own ceramics Factory in Posio, Lapland.
